Dues – All ex-students are considered members and all ex-teachers are considered honorary members. However, each year ex-students are asked to pay a yearly due of $10. Of the dues, eight dollars goes towards the daily expenses of the organization and the expense of putting together a homecoming event of this magnitude. The remaining two dollars are placed in the scholarship fund to help with the many scholarships that are awarded each year.

Memorials – To honor classmates, family and friends, memorials may be made to the Ex-Student Association. All memorial donations benefit the scholarship fund.

Building Fund – Donations may be made to the building fund. All monies donated to the building fund benefit the restoration and up keep of our building located on Burlington. Money from this fund is also spent on such things as insurance and heating/air conditioning.

Special Projects – The Ex-Student Association is currently raising $15,000 for the Spur High School Gymnasium Foyer Project. A raffle for a 4-Wheel ATV will be drawn during a Dinner and Dance held on April 19, 2008. Tickets are $50 each and can be purchased from any Board Member. Any class or individual may also make a donation to this project.
